The Barcelona Jewish festival was born with the vocation to affirm and to diffuse the Jewish culture that is so closely joined to Barcelona’s past. It is calculated that in the XIV and XV centuries that 10 percent of the population of Barcelona was Jewish. Today the Jewish people actively participate in the city, and maintain their culture alive in the fundamental history of Spain. The concept was to work with graphic elements taken from the beginning of a movie reel, the festival’s actual image.
