Captura.org was born when digital photography became popular. Captura took advantage of Internet as a magnificent backdrop to expose daily a group of poetic documentaries. From compulsive photography, to visual psychology. As a closing of the first stage of Captura.org (2002-2005) and in thanks to all the friends that had collaborated with their pictures, an exhibition of the material collected was held in Barcelona and Madrid.
The best part of this project was that Andreu Buenafuente (president of the company, TV host, and Captura’s creator did not want to see anything until the day of the exhibition. It was a great challenge…although, what would have happened if he did not like it? Some inconveniences arose; all of the material was prepared for Internet, resolution 72dpi, we looked at different grand format techniques until we found the definition and the maximum size we could work with. Micro-cosmos were created for each of the collaborators, that inside of the exhibition there was a micro-exhibition for each one of them, but all together there was a homogeneous image. I had the help of the designer Sebastián Litmanovich.
